243 years in the future, Louisville is a much different place. In the year 2265, The Robot Dudes and the Flying Thiol Blob Guys have banded together to protect our citizens from the Creepy Mechanical Spider Things. The Creepy Mechanical Spider Things keep coming, and times are hard, but spirits are high. The citizens have one love, and are drinking the last remaining beer: Atrium’s Living in The Future, a 7% NEIPA fermented with a modified thiol producing British yeast strain, dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic, and Strata. The war rages on. What are Thiols? Thiols are highly aroma-active compounds usually derived from hops that contribute intense tropical fruit character to your favorite IPAs. Precursors to these thiols exist in the world all around us, waiting to be transformed into intense aromatic compounds. With the help of modern (mad) science, microbiologists genetically altered our favorite Hazy IPA yeast strain to allow the yeast to unlock these secret doors and transform any existing thiol precursors into intense aroma and flavor active free thiols. In the future they turn into floating monsters that protect us from the Creepy Mechanical Spider Things. Precursors can be found throughout our brewing process, from the grain bill to specifically timed hop additions. Fermentation drives passionfruit, guava, and mango aromas through the roof; when paired with our generous dry hop additions and fluffy grain bill were left with a truly special and unique beer. Dank hop character dances with tropical fruits, balanced bitterness mingles with the softest body, and your palate flirts with another sip. But keep your eyes open for a Creepy Mechanical Spider Thing because they might beam you with a laser. The Future is now.

Whom The Gods Would Destroy; A DNEIPA from Atrium Brewing. In a time where time has disappeared, two years is a wild thing to reflect upon. Two years of evolving flavors. Two years of refining what it is to be an Atrium beer. Two years of experimentation with our beloved NEIPA recipes and brewing techniques. To celebrate our second birthday we brewed a big, full-bodied DNEIPA built on a blend of our favorite hops, and classic Atrium grist, full of fluffy oats and a special variety of wheat. At 9% ABV, dry-hopped mid and post-fermentation with loads of Galaxy, Wakatu, Idaho 7, and Simcoe, this hop-saturated elixir comes at you with flavor components of pineapple, melon, resin, pine, and Juicy Fruit gum, balanced bitterness, a soft, creamy, whipped mouthfeel, and just enough booze to evoke that warm and fuzzy feeling of your second birthday party.
